Hua Hin - Standing Buddha My first two days outside of Bangkok I spent in Hua Hin on the 24th and 25th which is around 3 hours away from Bangkok at the Gulf. We stayed at the really nice Fulay Guesthouse. The first day we (me and Christine a fellow student from Austria) arrived it was raining the whole day. So in the evenin we went out to the clubs which were pretty much deserted and we ended up in a Karaoke bar. Me singing was rather a torture for the owners but they kept on smiling. Still it was a hell lot of fun. On the first day in Hua Hin I was so desperate to get into the ocean that I went in even though it was stil raining a bit. But I stepped on something and now I have a sick foot and have to take antibiotics or the infection to cease. But the second day was nice cause I rented a motorcycle and went to see a standing Buddha and a temple with some "footsteps" of Buddha. The temple was really impressive with a nice and calm atmosphere. I was great and really a treat to get out of Bangkok and sees a tiny bit of Thailand.
